Astoria’s Perla brings together convenience, affordability, and ease-of-use into one espresso machine. It’s available as a 1, 2, or 3 group model with heat exchangers, thermocompensated group heads, and preinfusion technology.

Although it’s also offered as an automatic version, the Perla AEP is a semi-automatic espresso machine. Rather than volumetric buttons, there is a singular button for starting and stopping the brewing process. This means that the barista will have to be a little more involved, but they also have more freedom in controlling each shot that they pull.

When it comes to production capabilities, the 1 group is best-suited for low-volume situations, especially applications where coffee is secondary; the 2 group is better fit for low- to medium-volume cafes, and the 3 group is able to take on medium- to high-volume conditions.

Most of our carriers' trucks are not equipped with a liftgate. To guarantee a liftgate delivery when you order, you will want to select the Liftgate Service option at check out.

A liftgate is a hydraulic lift on the back of a truck that lowers freight from the truck to the curb or street. It is important to have if you do not have a way to get the equipment off of the truck yourself.

If you’re not sure whether you need Liftgate Service, contact us! If you don’t request Liftgate Service and your delivery is unable to be moved off of the truck, the carrier may charge you a re-delivery fee, in addition to the Liftgate Fee.
